ah. red carpet season. most look forward to the crisp air, falling leaves and beautiful autumn colors during this time. i however look itch in anticipation for this very season. i can honestly say that sitting out the couch and gluing my eyes to the television for 3 hours gives me butterflies no man could ever give me. i yell, i argue with myself and gawk over these fabulous gowns.
let's get started with my favorite looks of the evening.
Emily Vancamp in one of my favorite designer's gowns, J Mendel.
this dress is absolutely stunning. i was however, a little disappointed with the styling, not a fan of the bracelet and couldn't we have done a little something more with the clutch?
Zosia Mamet in Bibhu Mohapatra.
this dress fits her like a glove. the line and shape of this dress are to die for. this dress embodies both elegance and edginess. absolutely. stunning.
January Jones in Zac Posen.
i have to admit, i didn't know if i liked this dress at first. after seeing her on the red carpet a few times, i fell in love it. her make-up and hair are so perfect for this dress. her stylist really nailed this one -- kudos.
Leslie Mann in Naeem Khan.
this is one of my favorite red carpet looks for the emmy's. how about that dress and how lovely is she? perfect jewelry for this dress. perfect hair. she looks stunning. not to mention that dress.
Ginnifer Goodwin in
Hayden Panettiere in Marchesa
As much as i HATE doing this because Georgina and Keren are phenomenal, not to mention how lovely Hayden is. this was a styling error. this dress is all wrong for her -- she's too young and does not fit her whatsoever. should i talk about the hair? another mistake. this look = ALL. WRONG.
Nicole Kidman in
i can say that i thoroughly enjoyed this, as always. it's always a pleasure and the season is only beginning. cannot wait to hear the best dressed and worst dressed nominees on fashion police tonight!
